I am not a fan of Joey Pepperoni before because my first impression was it was an expensive place to eat. For someone who earns a regular income the main consideration for eating out besides taste is the cost of food.
However, yesterday we finally decided to try Aglio Olio at Joey Pepperoni Pizzeria which is currently on Summer Discount Promo. It costs us only 79 pesos drinks included.
Joey Pepperoni was founded in 2005 by Chef Giorgio "Giorgino" Bucciarelli. An Italian born chef who decided to stay for good in the Philippines and offer his brand of restaurant to Filipinos.
Upon entering Joey Pepperoni you will be greeted by crew and given a menu. After ordering you will then be given a crayola which you can use to play Chef Giorgino's Word Finder. You have to find 20 words like Panini, Grazie, Piatti Ala Griglia, Insalate, Bevanda, Antipasti and more.
Our order arrived in just about 5 minutes. Aglio Olio was a vegetarian pasta. It taste a little bit spicy but it was indeed mouth watering and very delicious. I had to say that I have to taste more of what Joey Pepperoni has to offer.
The place was cool and very conducive to small group meetings. Prices were reasonable enough. They also offer "Pasta All You Can" for just P149.00.
So personally, there is nothing bad and all positive ambiance and savory food at Joey Pepperoni and Pizzeria. By the way we visited their branch at SM City Baliwag.

I had the same impression as you did, that the food was expensive and everything so I never bothered trying. Although that's weird cause I eat in restos like CIBO and the likes. Now knowing they serve pastas with drinks at only 79, I definitely would want to try this! I think I saw one at Columns.
ReplyDeleteJust realized this was posted a year ago. Haha.
ReplyDeleteThey still have affordable food in the menu including their pizza and pasta. This restaurant is actually for all... for those who have low-end and high-end budget.
