Today's generation is indeed a generation who
loves to eat. In fact malls and areas
are no longer filled by fashion stuff or gadgets but by tons and tons of
restaurants offering various varieties of food.
During our Eat Street visit in Makati we had the chance to check out
PEPI CUBANO and their Cuban Sandwiches. (I just noticed that I had problems spelling out sandwich... hahhaha.. forgive me for this article please)
Pepi Cubano is serving authentic CUban
Sandwhiches since 2008. Some of their
famous sandwhiches includes their best seller Pepi Cubano, Pan de Bistec, and
Tito Choripan. Pepi Cubano (Php250) contains
slow-roasted pork loin marinated in their specialy saude, with ham, pickles and
mustard.
Pan de Bistec (Php280) contains sirloin beef smothered with caramelized onions with shoe-string potatoes. Tito Chorupan (Php200) is chorizo jamonado with chimichuri sauce.
This food cart is usually found in food bazaars
along Metro Manila/ They do not have
their own restaurant and place yet so you should like them on Facebook to know
where they are. As for the taste of a
Cuban Sandwich, I would say that it is something unique, heavy on the stomach
and indeed very appetizing.
You can also visit their physical location at Ground Floor, Tropical Palms Condominium, Gallardo, Near Corner Dela Rosa Street, Legaspi Village, Makati City.
I will surely try to eat one again soon. Have you tried Cuban sandwhiches
yourself? Do share us your experience.
