- Ensure that both http:// and http://www domain will be included.
- Use HTTP verification since this will only require you to upload files on your domain file folder.
- Download all the needed files and save them. Certificate Request (domain csr), and Private Key.
- Afer that you will have to download the two files which will be uploaded to your domain file folder r "webroot/.well-known/acme-challenge/". You can check if the browser can read it by clicking on the file.
- Once you click next you will be given a private key and the certificate itself. Download them and save.

How do you install the FREE SSL in GoDaddy?
Here is a step by step process on how you can install your Free SSL Certificate within GoDaddy. This step is a guide to a Linux server:
- Open your CPANEL.
- Hover down or look for Security - SSL/TLS.
- Click "Certificates (CRT)"
- Hover to "Upload New Certificate" and click on the file uploaded. Upload your saved crt.
- Click "Return to SSL Manager" at the bottom.
- Click "Install and Manage SSL for your site (HTTPS)"
- Select your domain and then click Autofill by Domain
- Enter your "Private Key" generated during the end process of the SSL generator above.
- Click "Install Certificate" at the bottom.
Why is my site still not secured?
There are still some reasons why your site is not secured.
- There is mix content on your site which is not on https. This may include images, embedded websites or more. Ensure that they are all on https or these contents are removed.
- You are using Wordpress. If you are using Wordpress follow this step.
- Login to your Admin Panel
- Click on Settings - General
- Change your website addess all to the "https" version.
- In case your Wordpress is still not fully secured,
- Go to your Admin Panel
- Go to Plugins
- Search for "Force SSL" in the new plugin.
- Select "Really Simple SSL" and Activate the Plugin.
- Follow the instructions and you are done.
