Online Pop Culture Convention for a Better Normal #PopConBetterNormal

 Face to Face events seems to be gone for a while due to the coronavirus and this lead to the boom of online events.  One event which we want to share with you is an event for a cause, Online Pop Culture Convention for a Better Normal of #PopConBetterNormal. It will be on August 22, 2020 from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

The event seeks to raise funds for environment worthy campaign of Green Peace Philippines and Aksyon Kalikasan, both are registered environmental Non Government Organizations (NGO).

The event is being spearheaded by Team Visionaries, a volunteer group for the  "Fundraisers for #BetterNormal," and was adopted by Red Cloud Interactive, the event arm of cosplay group for a cause, Naruto Cosplayers PH (NCPH)

How Do You Join #PopConBetterNormal?

All you have to do is register at  https://bit.ly/popconbetternormal.  The event will take place inside a private Facebook group, https://facebook.com/groups/popconbetternormal.  

Since this is a volunteer fundraising campaign, attendees are being requested to make a minimum donation.  Please see below:

Event Highlights and Activities

The event is a Pop Culture Convention Online, and technically for just Php200 you can learn and even participate.  Here are some of the scheduled activities:

Flex Your Quarantine Cosplay. Join an online cosplay exhibition, which is open to everyone who wants to cosplay.  To join just send us a message [email protected] and include your full name, cosplay name, location and sample cosplay photo.

Panel Discussion: Content Creation for a Better Normal. Get to know on how to improve and create your content during this pandemic and beyond.  The event will be hosted by GreekSilverHero (GSH) Channel host PJ Arcellana.  Panel guests for the event include: Maricres Valdez Castro, Miss Universe Philippines - Muntinlupa City 2020; Chuck Pablo, Red Cloud Digital Academy Director of Operations new business division of Red Cloud Interactive; Vlogger "Hey Chuck!", and former Nas Academy moderator; Kiel Se, Vlogger behind Choji TV and Cosplayer; and Ian Lee, Cosplayer, KPOP Cover Group Idol and Magician.

Panel Discussion: Cosplay During the Pandemic and Beyond. Keepsakes. writer, Jay Agonoy will host a panel talking about the hobby of cosplaying and how the pandemic is changing it.  Guests for the panel includes Ross Diong, Cosplayer and Dancer; Gino Bernard De Lumen (Dranzer Dice), Multi Awarded Cosplayer and Frontliner; Takeru Arino | Cosplayer, Crafter and Vlogger; and Ashley Misaki Hernandez, Multi Awarded Cosplayer and Model.

 

Pop Culture Music for a Better Normal.  Join Team OKE Gakuen as they showcase their members and songs from pop culture inspiration.  It will be an afternoon of listinging to music you love.

Learning Session: How to Prevent Creative Blockage.  Are you having creative blockage and cannot make content?  Let Prince De Guzman, Professional Events Host, Actor, Model, and Content Creator  help you out as he teaches some techniques to overcome it.

 

Pinoy Cosplay Podcast: The Rise of Online Cosplay Convention.  Join the team of Pinoy Cosplay Podcast and their guest, even participate in the discussion as they discuss the changes happening in events in the Philippines.
