As someone who's constantly in front of my computer and doing work and dealing with different meetings, I just want to sometimes de-stress, keep my cool and distract myself by playing games. Exploring different sites has been part of my daily routine. And recently, I find out about Solitaire.Org, and playing on their site brings back memories to me as well as giving some brain challenges and test my patience and luck.
If you are looking for free games, let me share with you some of the games that I love playing for the website. Let's have a look first at the popular games that they offer which are cards games - especially Solitaire games.
Solitaire - It's the 1st ever solitaire game that I got used to playing. No time limit and all you need to do is to stack up cards from King to Ace (which the Ace will automatically go on top) and form a complete stack of alternate colors. My grandma taught me about the game and after schooling, I usually grab her deck of cards and play.
Playing it thru an online browser is such a fun experience and you can try it here. Aside from the basic Solitaire game, let me share with you the other Solitaire games that I love playing:
Pyramid Solitaire - assorted cards are formed in a pyramid shape and you need to dispose of all the cards by having a total of 13. Meaning, as the King with the default value of 13, you can just click it away to be discarded. For the rest, you need to have 2 cards and get a total of 13, no matter what suit it is. For example, on the lower pyramid, you have 10 of Spades and 3 of Hearts, you can combine them to form a total of 13 and discard them.
There's a card stock as well so you can pick 1 card from it and will help you complete the game, if you are lucky that is. It's one of the challenging Solitaire games around. Try it for yourself here and see if you can complete a game. By the way, the game is timed so it's definitely a difficult one to play.
Spider Solitaire - You need to combine the cards from King down to the Ace completely. By being able to complete a full suite of 13 cards, it is discarded and you can continue playing until there are no cards in the game area. I can say that during times that I am playing this game, most of the time I am experiencing getting blocks and with a combination of poor luck so it's an end game for me. What's good about this game is there's no time limit so you can take your time and strategize. It's a fun type of Solitaire and to be honest, a very challenging one as well. You can play it here and let me know if you manage to finish a game quickly.
Baker's Dozen - Level up your solitaire game by trying this one. There will be 14 piles of cards plus 4 slots for Aces on the right side. You can combine the cards from King to Ace regardless of color and symbol. You can have to complete the game within 12 minutes or otherwise, you'll lose. What's extra challenging about it is you can only move 1 card to combine with another card on the game area. And you can't fill the empty space as well.
I have poor luck finishing this game. You can try it here if you are up for some challenge.
More Games
There are more Solitaire games available on Solitaire.Org. Have a look and try it. Aside from that, there are other non-Solitaire as well, and here are the games that I usually play too.
Try your patience and sharpness on the Hidden Object Games. My current favorite is The Palace Hotel Hidden Object Game.
You just have to find the objects and select them and be sure to do it before the time runs out. There's a 4-minute time limit for the 1st level and will reduce to 10 seconds at every level. It's pretty easy. It's calming as well after all the challenging Solitaire games.
As much as I want to share it with you, I am not familiar with Mahjong games. There are like 18 different mahjong games that you can try. There are free online games as well if you want something more different.
I would like to recommend you all to try Solitaire.Org for free to play games. I guarantee that there are no annoying pop-up ads on this site so it's a hassle-free and purely enjoyable gaming experience for free.
Let me know if you tried any games and which one is your favorite.
