Hotel Review: Astrotel Novaliches Marilyn Monroe VIP Room

If I were to choose, I would always say that Astrotel is one of the cleanest and most affordable budget hotels that I managed to be in.  One of the closes Astrotel branches to our location is ASTROTEL NOVALICHES and upon seeing the opportunity to visit again after the long lockdown, we decided to check it out.

Astrotel Novaliches is located right across Savemore and the E-Jeepney but stops along Gen. Luis in Novaliches Bayan. It is very visible on the road since frankly speaking it captures your attention compared to other nearby hotels.

ASTROTEL NOVALICHES MARILYN MONROE ROOM

One of the first questions I asked the manager is why it seems that rooms here are rather small compared to other branches of Astrotel.  That's when he told me that Astrotel Novaliches is one of the first branches which maintains smaller room sizes. However, he said that what the room might probably lack in size is compensated by the comfortability of such rooms.

Since it's a Saturday, we were able to get the Marilyn Monroe VIP Room.  I am not a fan of Marilyn Monroe but the hotel is at full capacity at that time.  Seems like everyone is excited to do a staycation again after a long time.

The room is very colorful and elegant and of course, it is adorned by the photos and fashion of the singer-actress Marilyn Monroe.  It also comes with free bottled water, free wifi, and cable internet. Seems like this room had been repaired because it looks better than the last time we had been here way back 2018.

  

Marilyn Monroe VIP Room works well and has a functional toilet and bath, and a comfortable bed though I wish they would make the pillows more comfortable. The pillows are one thing which I have to say is not my favorite when it comes to budget hotels.

EXPERIENCE WITH ASTROTEL NOVALICHES

There are very few recommendable budget hotels in Metro Manila and I would not hesitate to say that Astrotel is one of them.  If you are near the Novaliches area then this one is highly recommended.  The staff are very polite and kind and respond immediately to your queries and requests.

As far as the Astrotel Novaliches Marilyn Monroe VIP Room is concerned it is clean, well-maintained, and comfortable.  The lighting was good as well though I would recommend creating a separate switch for the light since not all people want to turn off all their lights while sleeping.

Another recommendation that I have is to provide at least one accessible socket for occupants.  It is hard to charge your gadget since the only socket available is the one being used by the television.
